AGENDA - 249th Session

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council will meet May 15, 2020, from 12:00 to 5:00 pm, Alaska standard time, for a special meeting to review emergency rule requests that have been submitted for Council consideration. The Council meeting will be broadcast at https://npfmc.adobeconnect.com/may2020 Council meetings are open to the public, except for Executive Sessions. For the Special Council Meeting in May, the Council is limiting public testimony to written statements only. Oral testimony will not be taken at the May Council meeting. There are unusual circumstances driving that decision, including the limited time available for the meeting (the only time when all council members are available on short notice), the need to resolve the matters as expeditiously as possible (requests for relief from emergency situations), and a new format of web conferencing for Council meetings that has not been previously used.
