10/29/25 Announcement: The Council has cancelled the November BSAI and GOA Groundfish Plan Team meetings due to the Congressional lapse in appropriations, as Federal workers are currently on furlough and will be unable to complete new groundfish assessments as planned. At the December 2025 Council meeting, the SSC, AP, and Council will review the best available information to support 2026-2027 final harvest specifications. Available information, including proposed specifications for 2026-2027 recommended by the Council in October, updated 2025 catch data, and new 2025 information presented at the September Groundfish Plan Team meetings, will be posted on the Council's December eAgenda by November 14th.
